We know how important it is for you to be able to identify patients of certain demographics or with specific care requirements so that they may be contacted for clinic updates, marketing purposes, or simply to make other arrangements for their care.
We have implemented a new filter into the patient list which will allow you to search for certain demographics of patients within your database.
- Click the Patients icon on the left side of your screen.
- In the Patients list, you will see a new Filters icon next to the search bar.
- Clicking the Filters button this provide options for filtering which patients are listed in the Patients window.
- As you apply filters, the Patients list should begin filtering behind the Filters window. When you have applied all necessary filters, click outside of the Filters window to finalise the search.
Once filters have been applied, the Patients list will also present an indication to identify how many filters have been applied. This will also allow you to clear all filters.
Older than | Identifies patients who are equal to or older than the age specified |
Indigenous Status | Identify patients based on the selection of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in the patient's Details screen. Note: Choosing Non Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander will return patients with neither option ticked in the Details screen and patients who have no status set for Ethnicity. |
Diagnosis | Identifies patients with specific conditions which could put them at risk, such as Diabetes. You can enter several conditions in your search, and patients with any of the specific conditions will appear in the filtered list. |
Pregnancy | Allows you to search for patients with an active pregnancy based on the Obstetrics module. |
Appointments |
Allows you to identified patients with appointments within your specified time frame. You can optionally select only the From or To value if preferred. You will now see you also have the option to search for patients with either an Appointment or Procedure. You also have the option to filter for patients with No bookings or Any bookings. |
Note: these filters will work in conjunction with the Show deceased or inactive setting in the Patients list.
Once you have finished any tasks required for the list of filtered patients, you can clear the filters as needed. This can be done by selecting the Filters button to remove individual options, or by clearing filters in bulk by selecting the (X) Filters applied button.
