As part of the Obstetrics module, you can view a list of upcoming delivery dates via the Pending Births report. The Pending Births report will also show completed deliveries.
- Navigate to the Appointment Book.
- Select the ellipsis icon in the top right hand corner.
- Select Pending Births.
You will be presented with the Pending Births window, similar to that shown below.
Above the list of pregnancies for the specified criteria is a Completed or Pending marker with a pink bubble; this bubble specifies the number of pregnancies in the specified criteria.
The main display of the Pending Births window displays below details:
- Agreed EDD
- Patient name
- Hospital
- Date of 28th week of pregnancy
- Parity
- Next booked appointment.
- The Pending Births window will retain the filters currently selected in the Appointment Book - namely the Provider/s and the month in selection.
- You may change the month and year in the top left corner of the Pending Births window.
- You may further filter the Pending Births list by billing provider, using the list of providers to the left of the window.
To view a list of completed deliveries, simply select the Show Completed option.
The window will update to show completed deliveries.
Print pending births or completed deliveries
To print the list of pending births, simply press the Print button in the top right corner of the window.
The printed report will show the details listed above, as well as the patient's phone number.
The completed deliveries print-out also shows all details displayed in the on-screen version, however the printed sheet will show the date of birth rather than the agreed EDD, and the result instead of the phone number.
The Pending Births window can be moved around on your screen by selecting the heading with your cursor and dragging to a suitable location.
If the window is moved from its default location, the window will appear in the new location the next time you open Pending Births.
The window can be closed using the X icon in the top right corner.
At this time, the Pending Births window cannot be resized.
When viewing Pending or Completed Births, you may note instances of pregnancies listed under No Provider or No Billing Provider Subscription.
The former reflects pregnancies that did not have a specified provider when data was converted into your Gentu database from your old software.
The latter situation reflects pregnancies that are under the care of a provider who no longer has an active billing subscription with Gentu.
Though a provider may be selected in your filters, please note that their name will not appear in the list of Pending or Completed Births if they do not have any pregnancies in the specified date range.
