Gentu's financial report shows a comprehensive summary of the amounts invoiced and receipted for the selected period.
On opening the Financial Report, the report will appear blank at first.
You will first need to select the filter options, such as the Provider, Site, and Date Range.
Then press Generate to generate the report.
You can hover your mouse over any of the information shown in the report to view the text in full.
If desired, you can use the Export button to export the Financial Report to an Excel spreadsheet document.
Clicking the drop down arrow on the left of each record will display further detail.
Note that the transactions shown in grey text are from a period outside of the given date range. These transactions are listed here to provide context, but the amounts are not included in the report totals.
For example, if a patient is invoiced in January and pays their account in February; the financial report for February will not include that patient's invoiced amount in the invoiced total.
You may also note that deposits are not included on the financial report. For financial reporting on deposits, check the Deposits Report instead.
> Why can’t I view the Financial Report, but another user can?
Your user may not have the ability to access these files due to the way that User Roles have been configured in your Gentu practice. For more information, see the User Roles article.
