If the laboratory or company of your choice is not listed above, you may still be able to receive diagnostic results from them into Gentu through other third part messaging services.
Gentu is integrated with Healthlink, Argus, and Medical Objects for the secure receipt and delivery of electronic letters. Certain laboratories or companies may be able to use one of these third party services to deliver results to you.
Please contact your pathology or radiology provider(s) directly to enquire about their ability to transmit via Healthlink, Argus, or Medical Objects.
Not all providers will be able to send information via these third party carriers, and this may vary from location to location, so you should speak to your local provider before proceeding.
Please see our dedicated articles for:
Switching to Gentu from another software
If you switch to Gentu from another software, you may already use some of the third party services outlined above.
Please consider the following:
- Usually the laboratory or carrier service uses your Medicare Location ID (or Minor ID) to identify your practice for delivering letters & results. If you have switched to Gentu from another software, your Location ID will have changed.
- We recommend that you contact each of the laboratories or services that you have already registered for, and ensure that your registration details are up to date, including your Gentu Location ID.
- If you have previously used these delivery services, they may have installed their downloading software on your computer or network to facilitate downloading results. You should ensure that any e-delivery download software is removed from your computer or network when you switch to Gentu, as it will no longer be required.
- Please contact the support team for each laboratory or service directly for assistance with the above. Gentu Support is not able to assist with the configuration of third party software.
