Gentu officially supports the most recent major version of Google Chrome and Safari desktop browsers. While Gentu may work to some degree of functionality on other browsers such as Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge, these are not supported.
We will usually deploy fixes related to bugs within the current browser versions only. If you are experiencing issues in outdated versions we recommend updating your browser to the most recent major release where possible.
As Gentu is a cloud-based practice management solution, Genie Solutions deploys firewalls and other best-practice security protocols to protect your data on our infrastructure and prevent any unauthorised access. As such there is not a specific firewall or antivirus solution required to protect your Gentu database.
You may however wish to speak to an IT provider to determine the suitability of these preventative measures to protect the privacy and security of your local network and associated devices.

- Appointment Book
- Consult Notes
- Incoming Results and Letters
We currently do not support any other workflows or mobile browsers, including Samsung's Galaxy Browser, Opera Mobile, Firefox Mobile, etc.
