For security reasons, this functionality is restricted to Administrators only. Other User Roles will not be able to export the patient list.
This download contains personally identifiable information (PII). Please ensure appropriate consent and measures are taken to protect the confidentiality and privacy of this information.
You can export all of your patients as follows:
- Navigate to the Patients List

- Click the EXPORT button in the top right.
- You will be prompted to confirm you wish to proceed with the export; if so, please choose CONFIRM & EXPORT.
A file titled patients.csv should download after a few moments. The file will be exported in comma-separated variable (.csv) format, which can then be opened in a spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel.
The following details will be included in the export:
- Title
- First Name
- Last Name
- Next Appointment Date
- Date of Birth
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- Mobile Phone
- Home Phone
- Work Phone
- Email Address
- Residential Address 1
- Residential Address 2
- Residential Suburb
- Residential Postal Code
- Residential State
- Postal Address 1
- Postal Address 2
- Postal Suburb
- Postal Postal Code
- Postal State
- Use Residential Address as Postal
- Inactive
- Deceased
If your State has been set to SA in Settings > Practice Preferences, the EXPORT button will also allow you to choose a ScriptCheckSA Report. This report can be used for submitting details regarding monitored medications to the Drugs of Dependence Unit (DDU) in accordance with the changes to the Controlled Substances (Poisons) Regulations 2011. - Navigate to the Patients List

- Select the arrow on the EXPORT button.
- Choose ScriptCheckSA Report.
- Specify the Practitioner you require the report for.
- Select a Calendar Month the report is required for. The current month will always list Incomplete as the month is not finished.
- Select NEXT.
- You will be prompted to confirm you wish to proceed with the export; if so, please choose CONFIRM & EXPORT.
Gentu will download a file titled prescriptions.csv for your review. The file will be exported in comma-separated variable (.csv) format, which can then be opened in a spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel. After reviewing the file, you can submit this as needed to the DDU.

It would be really handy to have the option of selecting Chart No
in the export details.
And why not have option to select what you need, instead of all data that might need manipulating.
