Measurements can play a large part in various aspects of a patient's care, which is why Gentu has integrated a Clinical Measures module to record and review this data.
Gentu's Clinical Measures currently includes five measurements:
- Height (cm)
- Weight (kg)
- BMI (kg/m2)
- Systolic BP (mmHg)
- Diastolic BP (mmHg)
The BMI can be calculated automatically based on the height and weight entered, or it can be manually entered.
Adding & Deleting Measurements
Adding A Measurement
You can locate the Clinical Measures to the right hand side of the patient's Clinical screen.
- Select the + plus icon to add a new measure
- Enter the relevant measurements
- Choose Save to finish adding the measurements
When adding a measure, the module will default to the current date and time. These can be changed as required if you need to add a historical measurement.
After adding a measure, these will be listed under the Latest Measures heading. You can click on any of these measurements to open the window, allowing for amendments to be made.
Deleting a Measurement
If you have entered a measurement incorrectly, the record can be deleted. To do so, click on the measurement from the right hand side of the Clinical screen, then choose the Delete button. This will delete all measurements entered in this record.
Past measurements can be viewed by selecting the plus icon or by selecting an existing measurement. At the bottom of this screen, you will be able to use the arrows to move back and forth through measurements. You can also select a specific date from the dropdown menu between the arrows to jump to this measure.
