Healthlink is a third party carrier service for sending and receiving electronic letters.
Gentu integrates directly with Healthlink - there is no need to set up any additional software on your computer.
Once you have registered with Healthlink, you will be able to send and receive letters directly from within Gentu.
To subscribe to Healthlink, please fill out the Gentu Healthlink application form and return this to Healthlink.
If you have switched to Gentu from another software, and already have an Healthlink subscription, you must contact Healthlink to notify them that you have switched to Gentu.
They will need to reconfigure your account to work with Gentu.
After you have signed up with Healthlink, the Healthlink team will notify you of your Healthlink ID.
You can then enter this ID into Gentu to enable Healthlink messaging:
- Open Settings > Practice Preferences.
- Enter your ID into the Healthlink Identifier field.
- Press Save at the very bottom of the screen.
You can add an Healthlink ID for those doctors you wish to send letters to by adding them to your Address Book.
- Open the Address Book
- Select Add > Practitioner
- Enter their details, including their Healthlink ID
- Save the record.
