An overview of your Recalls can be viewed in the My Day panel, under the Recalls tab.
The Due/Overdue tab lists your overdue recalls, and your due recalls which have a reminder date set.
The Upcoming tab lists upcoming recalls which have not yet triggered a reminder, or which do not have a reminder set.
The Done tab lists previous recalls which have been completed.
Upon selecting a recall, Gentu will list the patient's name and mobile phone number, and the reminder date. If the recall is overdue as of the current date; instead of listing the reminder date, Gentu will display an Overdue notification.
Recalls can be added from within the patient's file, or directly from a patient's appointment, by selecting Add > Recall.
Enter the Reason and the Due Date.
You can also set a reminder for the recall by using the options by the Reminder heading.
Gentu lets you set a flexible, customisable reminder for your recalls.
The reminder settings will determine when the recall appears in the My Day > Recalls overview.
Once the recall crosses the reminder date threshold, it will appear under the Due/Overdue tab in your Recalls list.
You will also be notified of Due/Overdue recalls within the Patient Details screen, under the Recalls tab.
It is possible to save a recall without setting a reminder.
If you save a recall without setting a reminder, the recall will not appear in Due/Overdue until it the day it is due, or when it is overdue. It will still appear in the Upcoming tab in the My Day > Recalls area, and in the Patient Details > Recalls list for that specific patient.
If you make a mistake when adding a patient recall, you can easily edit this by clicking on the traffic lights icon to the right of the recall and choosing the Edit option.
Alternatively, you can choose the Delete option from the button above if the recall was made in error or no longer needed.
You can mark a recall as completed by selecting the recall and pressing Mark as Done.
