Today, on Friday 17th February, we are pleased to announce the long-awaited, newly redesigned invoice within Gentu.
To streamline your invoicing workflow, the Voucher aspect has been removed from the invoice window.
For seamless online claiming, the new invoice functionality allows you to set Service Dates on a per-item basis.
In addition to this, you can now set the Service Time for each item via the Overrides window (accessible by clicking the flag icon by each item on an invoice).
How will this affect my past invoices and claims?
To ensure peace of mind, all of your past invoice and claims have been migrated to the new invoice design. You will not need to make any changes.
Gentu's newly designed invoice marks the exciting first step in a series of upcoming development changes to the billing & quoting module in Gentu.
In future, we look forward to adding even more functionality to the invoicing system, with a particular focus on assistant billing. In the new design, you can include assistant's fees on an invoice. Our next step is to re-introduce a simplified workflow to invoice as an assistant. This will be available in the coming weeks.
Further changes to look forward to include the ability to create multiple private fee schedules; the ability to set differing Multiple Procedure Rule scales; and the much-anticipated Quote-to-Invoice feature.
