The following article outlines some common queries about patient details in Gentu.
> Can I print the patient's complete record from Gentu?
Absolutely yes. You can do this by opening the patient's record and selecting Print > PDF.
In the next window you'll be prompted on the type of information you'd like to print for the patient: Patient Details, Clinical Information, or Consult Notes. You can print any combination of these options, selected by ticking the corresponding checkboxes.
Patient Details will print their demographic details such as their full name, preferred & maiden names, gender, phone numbers, email, chart number. It will also print their address(es), and their Medicare, health fund, HCC/Pension, and DVA card details.
Clinical Information will print the patient's Adverse Reactions, Medications, Diagnoses, and Past Procedures.
Consult Notes will print out a list of all the patient's past consult notes, ordered by date, including the reason for encounter, history, examination, and plan.
> I accidentally created a duplicate patient record. How can I delete it?
For data security purposes Gentu has no provision to delete patients. If you have accidentally duplicated a patient record, you can merge the two patient records together.
> What is the minimum information needed to save a patient to Gentu?
A surname is the only required information needed to save a new patient record in Gentu.
> Why can't I view/add/edit/delete certain sections of the patient file, but my colleague can?
Your user may not have the ability to access or edit these files due to the way that User Roles have been configured in your Gentu practice. For more information, see the User Permissions section of this article.
